Metalfab is proud to announce the recent addition of our first dealer in New York State.  Federal Safety Equipment located in Candor, NY will be looking after Sales in Service of Metalfab Fire Trucks.

Federal Safety Equipment, Inc., a New York State Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, has been in business for over 30 years providing emergency and fire personnel with the vehicles and equipment they require. The emergency vehicle mechanics at Federal Safety Equipment, Inc.  are EVT certified and are able to provide service on-site 24/7.

Metalfab is excited with the potential of this new partnership and we look forward to providing quality, custom engineered Fire Trucks to our future New York State customers.

Waterous CAFS Training

March 22, 2019 at Metalfab Plant - Centreville, NB

Metalfab will be hosting a full day Waterous Compressed Air Foam training session at our facility in Centreville, NB on March 22nd commencing at 9:00 AM and concluding at 4:00 PM.  Lunch will be provided for the day.  Ray Frey, CAFS Specialist with Waterous will present the training course which will cover a basic system overview including maintenance, trouble shooting, and usage of the system.  There shall be no cost for this training session.   If you wish to attend the training session, please fill out the attached form and return to info@metalfabfiretrucks.com or fax to 1-506-276-3648.  The session is limited to the number of participants and shall be offered on a first come basis.  A letter will be sent to confirm that you have been registered.

Metalfab Municipal Protection Plan

A New Leasing Option for Fire Truck Purchases

Metalfab is excited to announce the introduction of their new Municipal Protection Plan.  The Metalfab Municipal Protection plan is a lease option for acquiring new Fire Trucks.  The customer would lease a new Fire Truck for 5 or 7 years.  At the end of the term the customer would have three options:  pay off the remainder of the cost to own the truck, continue the payments until the remainder of the truck is paid off and they will own the truck, or the truck can be returned to Metalfab and the customer can then lease a new truck from Metalfab.  This would allow the Fire Department to always have a relatively new apparatus in their fleet with the latest of safety options.  During the lease period, Metalfab or their dealer will perform the annual [...]

Weldon V-Mux Multiplex Training

Metalfab will be hosting a half day Weldon V-Mux Multiplex training session at our facility in Centreville, NB on October 11th commencing at 9:00 AM for the morning session and 1:00 PM for the afternoon session.  The same course will be held twice during the day of October 11th, so please chose to register for the AM or PM session.  Dennis Wilcox from Weldon will present the training course which will cover a basic system overview, followed by a presentation on Downloader, Diagnostics, and troubleshooting in class. 2018 Jim Hayter Memorial Scholarship Presentation

2018 Recipient - Victoria "Tori" Shaw - Alvinston, ON

We are pleased to announce that Firefighter Victoria “Tori” Shaw, (fourth from the left) is the first recipient of the Jim Hayter Memorial Scholarship. Family, friends, and colleagues gathered at the Alvinston Fire Station on June 26th to present Tori with this scholarship award. Tori started her avocation as a junior firefighter at the age of 16 and is currently serving as an active member of Brooke Fire Rescue. Ms. Shaw will continue her studies at Lambton College in the Registered Practical Nursing program. According to a letter of support submitted by Amelia Authier (Registered Nurse/Clinical Instructor), adjectives to describe Tori include: positive, prepared, punctual, professional, bright, hard-working, and pleasant. This scholarship was established in 2017 to honor the late Jim Hayter, a charter member of the Canadian Volunteer Fire Services Association (CVFSA). The [...]

Atlantic Burn Camp Fundraiser

                                                                     

Metalfab is proud to announce that they will be hosting their Second Annual Open House on Saturday August 25, 2018.  The fun filled day will include such activities as shop tours, equipment demonstrations, a barbecue, children’s activities, and more.  This year, Metalfab will be also raising money for the Atlantic Burn Camp throughout the day.  Some of the fundraising activities will be a Motorcycle Poker Rally, a Silent Auction, and a Fire Truck Pull.  Each year the Atlantic Burn Camp accept burn injured children ages 6 to 17 from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador for their annual week long [...]

Red Knights NB5 & Metalfab Fundraiser for the Atlantic Burn Camp

Metalfab is proud to announce that in conjunction with the Red Knights NB5 they are doing a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the Atlantic Burn Camp – http://www.cbfburncare.ca/. The draw is as per the attached photo. Tickets can be purchased from the Red Knights NB5 and by Metalfab. Tickets will also be available to be purchased at any of the conventions and trade shows Metalfab attends this year. The drawing will take place July 15th at the Maritime Fire Chief’s Conference.
