Toughness You Can Rely On

On July 6th Metalfab hosted it’s fundraiser day to raise funds for the Atlantic Burn Camp. Despite rain and thunder showers, participants for the Poker Run arrived first thing on the Saturday morning. Throughout the day a barbecue and silent auction were also held. The total amount raised during that day was over $1,000.00 which brings the total to date for this year to just under $5,000.00. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to our efforts and to the Metalfab staff that helped and participated in the event.

On Saturday July 6, 2019, Metalfab Fire Trucks is hosting their Second Annual Fundraiser for the Atlantic Burn Camp.  Last year we were able to raise $8,000.00 for the Atlantic Burn Camp and we are looking to meet or exceed that amount again this year.  Each year the Atlantic Burn Camp accept burn injured children ages 6 to 17 from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland & Labrador for this annual weeklong event held on beautiful Cape Breton Island. Camp is staffed by firefighters, law enforcement, medical personnel, teacher and community volunteers. There are no costs to the families at all.  Even transportation to and from the event is covered.  The experience could change their lives forever. Kids attending camp will meet new friends, other children who have also experienced burn injury and have a lot of fun.  More information about the camp can be found at this link – .
